A GRACE COUNTRY HARVEST
FALL BAZAAR UPDATE
Plans for the annual fall bazaar, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11th, have begun. Here is a SEPTEMBER CHECKLIST.
Canners – Now is the time for canning. Are you thinking what jams, jellies, pickles, and salsas you can make?
Gardeners – Don’t forget about the GARDEN OF GRACE – the place to sell squash, potatoes, apples, plants, dried flowers and dried flower arrangements.
Handiworkers – Have you started sewing, knitting, crocheting or cross-stitching? Dish towels, aprons, and place mats are only a few ideas.
Woodworkers – Have you gotten your ideas for wood working projects?
Card makers – Are you stamping a variety of cards for “GRACEMARKS”. Cards for all occasions sell well.
Crafters– How are your craft projects coming along? Now is the time to get those projects started.
Cookie Bakers – All members are asked to bake at least 6 dozen CHRISTMAS cookies to be sold at the COOKIE LANE on bazaar day. Last year over 600 dozen cookies were sold! We are the bazaar known for our great Christmas cookies. We need even more than last year.
Lefse Bakers – Lefse will again be made at the church and sold on sale day.
Grandma’s Attic – We will again have a Grandma’s Attic this year. We are emphasizing “treasures from the past”. Do you have some special treasured or vintage items you could donate?
Pie Bakers – Apple pies will again be made at church and sold on bazaar day. We are looking for donations of apples. Please contact Lydia Franko (320-237-1207) if you have apples to donate. Last year over 40 apple pies were made!
