Hot off the griddle,
Sunday Morning, March 5th!
Kathy Hovland and her crew of lefse makers are excited to be able to heat up their griddles for another worthy cause. Severe drought has created financial disaster for the Maasai community who are now funding a portion of the school costs at Namnyaki. Over 7000 head of cattle have died in the past 6 months and resources are desperately short , thus this emergency need. Thrivent will match funds up to $1000 to help the school survive this immediate need as grants and contacts are being made to assist the Maasai people. Come enjoy this Scandinavian Holy Manna between services on March 5. A free will offering will be taken with a silent auction of 2 beautiful quilted banners created by Barb Orstad.
Check them out in the east narthex!
