News from the transition front….
The Ministry Site Profile (document we sent to the larger church so we can find a good fit in a pastor) is finished and council is reviewing it. It will be sent to the synod office for review.
We are in the process of putting together a call committee.
We had our second listening session for Children, Youth & Family ministry. Catherine Anderson, Linda Rambo and Susan Williams joined us. We are discussing next steps.
Council has a draft job description for a part-time visitation pastor to review.
Leadership is reviewing our membership list with the intent to bring our number into a more realistic one so that we can better plan for the future.

What is this?
An opportunity for you to help starving people in the world. You will get pledges from people who will support your un-eating and then that money will go to ELCA World Hunger.
Here is some important information for your weekend…
The famine starts Friday, April 21st after lunch. (Eat a big lunch!) We are starting the Famine at Grace Lutheran, which will be open after school. Please check in between 3:15 and 6:00 at Grace.
What to bring:
-Your fundraising pledge sheet with a minimum of $24: All checks should be made out to ELCA World Hunger. Please convert all cash to one check if possible.
-Signed parent consent form
-Clothes appropriate for yard work
-Sleeping bag or blankets and pillow
-A supportive and involved friend
We will be leaving for “Feed My Starving Children” in Coon Rapids on Friday at 6:30. We will spend the night at Grace Lutheran.
Our service project on Saturday afternoon will be spring cleanup at Camp Onomia, and we will break our fast at noon.

Listening session #2 for Children, Youth and Family ministries will be held on Thursday, March 16th at 6:30 pm. If you have interest in the future of this important ministry here at Grace we encourage you to attend. Catherine Anderson, synod youth specialist, will be our guest at this meeting. The Kanabec County Relay for Life will be on Saturday, June 24th, this year, from approx. 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Anyone interested in joining the Grace Lutheran Walkers Team. Please go to relayforlife.org/kanabecmn to join….Or form a youth team or family team. A Kick-Off ecent will be held on Tuesday April 11th at Kev’s Depot in Mora. Come for the wonderful spaghetti dinner and silent auction items. (If anyone is interested in donating a silent auction item, that would be wonderful.) We are looking for kiddos who are ready to read the psalm, if your son, daughter or grandchild is willing and ready to read the psalm let the church office know at 679-1062. Parishioners love to listen and watch the kids grow in their faith.
